That’s the only way I can think to describe the Lake Keowee area weather. I don’t even think that phrase makes sense but there it is. We are blessed with some nice warm days then as soon as we settle in mentally for spring, we’re blasted with some really nasty cold days. It was even down in the 40’s for the Clemson baseball games this past weekend. I know, that’s not really cold in Michigan but it’s parka time down here and it really irks you when you are planning on wearing shorts and working on getting rid of your ghost legs.

The weather did put a little damper on the Lake Keowee real estate market, but not too much. We were able to put 3 lots under contract over the past week so we can’t complain. Yet here I go. We’ve done such a good job of getting our listings sold quickly that we are low on inventory again. We need much more Lake Keowee waterfront lots and houses to market to all these desperate folks looking for their little slice of heaven. I know you’re thinking “I’m really going to get out and use my Lake Keowee property this year”, but if you didn’t do it much last year you probably won’t find the time this year. County Council set to OK economic project tonight
