Another successful week adding a waterfront lot to the under-contract pile while also working on another contract and finalizing the details on a few new Lake Keowee home listings. It’s that time of year and folks are starting to think about making the most of their summers by owning a piece of Lake Keowee real estate. Obviously, there are a few headwinds out there with impending gas price shocks, etc., but we don’t believe they will have a major effect on springtime sales. 

Although it was pretty, it didn’t lead to a lot of Lake Keowee waterfront property activity. As most folks tend to shy away from looking at lake property during a snowstorm. It even delayed us getting a couple of properties on the market. We weren’t sitting on our hands, though, as the cell phone still works just fine when it snows. In real estate, you are always putting out little fires here and there

It’s here, Christmas 2025! Time to spend quality time with the family before they all head in different directions again. We here at Top Guns Realty hope you have a fantastic holiday season and get everything you want for Christmas.

Slower weeks this time of year allow more opportunities for us to go over advertising, marketing systems, etc. We’re ever striving to create as many eyes as possible on our listings as well as getting as many people as possible to look at them in person. We’re also working hard to create buyer leads for other listings out there. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in 37 years. We were selling real estate on Lake Keowee when there was still such a thing as an actual printed multiple listing book. Yea, we’ve seen a lot of change while doing thousands of real estate transactions.

Enough about having fun, back to work. We were able to add another great Lake Keowee waterfront home to our listing book over the past week. Check out 486 Cardinal Ln. Waterfront Lake Keowee home not in a subdivision, though it still has some restrictions. It’s located close to town and has a nice, gentle slope to the Lake (covered dock, jet ski buoys, lift, the works!) We were also able to close a Lake Keowee waterfront home as well as a waterfront lot. We’re just like a freight train, delivering the goods effectively and efficiently and totally unstoppable!

It was another good week as we were able to put 2 Lake Keowee waterfront homes under contract along with a Lake Keowee waterfront lot. That’s $4,227,000 in volume over a rainy weekend, no less! Proof that folks are still out and about looking to get their dream Lake Keowee property secured.

We are experiencing our first real heat wave of the summer. It feels especially dreadful  because it’s actually beenI quite cool comparatively up until now. We were able to close a Lake Keowee interior property this week as well as add a listing that we quickly put under contract. That amount of activity makes for a good week, though we are always looking for great. Buyers are looking in earnest with the goal of getting into that Lake Keowee home around the July 4th holiday. You could help them out by putting your Lake Keowee home or lot on the market (with us of course).

Another good week as folks continue to envision that dream home on Lake Keowee. We put a waterfront home under contract along with a Lake Keowee waterfront lot. We will be adding two more Lake Keowee waterfront homes to our inventory to replace the one we just sold and then some, but it’d be better if we added three or four. 

Put yours on the market. It’s time. The summer is more than halfway over and there are so many amazing things you can do with that money. Why wait?

We’re in need of the cool, clear waters of Lake Keowee these late June days as the temperatures have jumped into the 90’s. Plenty of folks are out taking advantage of the relief the water gives. Over the weekend we traveled all around Keowee, enjoying the cool spray and taking several dips. It’s a lot better than mowing the grass.
