Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Crisp
We’ve had a couple of crisper nights over the past week around Lake Keowee and while we till expect to see temperatures in the low 80’s by the end of the week, we know autumn is coming! This being one of our mostest favoritest times of the year, we are beyond excited. There’s not a whole lot better than hanging out at Lake Keowee during the day, enjoying the water and beautiful mountain views followed by an intentionally wholesome evening around the fire pit. I can smell the oak burning now.
Enough about having fun, back to work. We were able to add another great Lake Keowee waterfront home to our listing book over the past week. Check out 486 Cardinal Ln. Waterfront Lake Keowee home not in a subdivision, though it still has some restrictions. It’s located close to town and has a nice, gentle slope to the Lake (covered dock, jet ski buoys, lift, the works!) We were also able to close a Lake Keowee waterfront home as well as a waterfront lot. We’re just like a freight train, delivering the goods effectively and efficiently and totally unstoppable!

- You can accept it as is.
- You can reject it.
- You can reject it and provide a counteroffer.
You cannot accept it an then make changes!
Realize that any time you reject a buyer’s offer, they have the right to walk away from the deal completely. Therefore, if an offer is very close to what you want, you may be making a mistake to counteroffer and insist on having your cake and eating it too.
You risk losing what may be a sure deal.
The most common areas in which you may wish to counteroffer are price, terms, occupancy and contingencies.
Remeber that any time you make a counteroffer – even in just one area – you reject the buyer’s offer and they may decide to counteroffer by making changes in some other area as well.
