We are hopeful that business will continue as it has over this entire year. We’re looking at closing over $1M in Lake Keowee lots over the remainder of the week. After that things get a bit slower as the inventory remains lower than the number of perspective buyers. It’s still a great time for you potential sellers and if history is any indicator, folks love to look at Lake Keowee real estate in the fall. The views begin to open and you can walk up and down multiple properties without having to change your shirt.

For the most part, the inventory of good Lake Keowee waterfront property has been lower than the demand that currently exists. We still get listings that go under contract within days of hitting the market. Seems like that has been the norm for years now (at least since the first few months of Covid). Though, that is not what “normal” will be forever. The point being that you potential sellers need to sell while the selling is good. Buyers, just keep on keeping on. We’re working hard to get you guys the inventory you are looking for.

Hot summer days on Lake Keowee. Is there anywhere else you’d rather be? The ocean? No, too salty. The mountains? Too bumpy. A field in the middle of Kansas? Too Toto and Dorothy. Lake Keowee is the perfect place to be this time of year to keep cool and turn hot days into great fun. In a fit of insanity, I decided to bush hog some property around noon yesterday. After an hour I realized this is better done in the early morning or late afternoon or even never. Fortunately, I was able to cool off in Keowee once I was done and it made everything all the better.

Yep, that’s right kids are already starting to head back to school around Lake Keowee. Seems like we had a lot more summer than kids have today. They get a lot more breaks throughout the year so I suppose it evens out, but my wistful remembrances of the summers of my youth make me believe the new way is not so good as the old. But that’s true about a lot of things in life. Probably less reality and more just me. Supertramp said it best in Goodbye Stranger, “if I never look behind me, my troubles will be feeeewwwww.

And just like that, July 4th 2023 here at Lake Keowee as well as nationwide, has come and gone. We are now in the busiest time of the year for folks viewing Lake Keowee real estate, and we are moving and shaking as we try to generate as much business as possible. We are prepared to list as many as you folks are willing to send our way as the inventory of Lake Keowee waterfront real estate remains too low for our liking.

It’s that time of year around Lake Keowee: graduation time. Clemson University just had their graduation ceremonies and now the local High Schools are gearing up for theirs over the next couple of weeks. With that comes a slight lull before the market really heats up to its highest temperature of the year, the dates between June 6th and about July 16th. These are the days to have your Lake Keowee property on the market if you want to get the highest value

With an early spring around Lake Keowee comes early pollen. On the way to the office this morning I could see clouds of the dayglow yellow/green devil’s dust swirling off of a stand of pines on Keowee. Quite a sight, and quite a blow to you waiting a couple more days to get your car […]

Not the hilarious TV sitcom, the actual outside temperature! Go get your boat and jet skis ready because it’s time to get out on Lake Keowee! It’s a perfect day to hit the water (maybe not get in the water quite yet)! It’s also a great day to get outside and stop looking at that […]

Getting ready to watch a hopefully a major battle that isn’t overshadowed by the millions of dollars spent on advertising. Maybe, if you have your Lake Keowee property advertised with us, […]

Lake Keowee has had enough rain, at least for awhile. Seems like every morning lately we’ve woken up to cloudy gloomy skies with, you guessed it, rain. Get an hour or so of sun, swing through the car wash and the next morning the rain gets you again. It is to be expected this time of year and it’s not as bad as I’m making it sound. Just feels that way when the days are so short.
