Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Week of Fun
It almost goes without saying that there are a lot of college football fans around Lake Keowee and fortunately for those folks Clemson University is just minutes away. This week our area is at the center of college football as Clemson will host ESPN’s College Gameday (currently college football’s premier television show) as our #5 Tigers host the #10 NC State Wolfpack. There will be tons of extra energy in the area along with Clemson and NC State car flags, etc. The only thing that could put a bit of a damper on the festivities is Hurricane Ian. Fortunately, we are far enough away from the point of impact as to see a much less windy, but still probably wet couple of days. Our prayers go out to all of the folks in the storms path. Stay safe!
Business has slowed, as is expected this time of year, and probably will just a bit more as interest rates, inflation and overall pricing begins to take a stronger hold. There are still plenty of buyers in the market, just few folks willing to part with these fantastic Lake Keowee properties for fear of difficulty finding a replacement. We were lucky enough to add a couple of great listings to the inventory over the past week with two lots. One Lake Keowee waterfront lot in Four Points North, Lot 5, and another interior lot with plenty of acreage in Cedar Creek, Lots 69,70 and 71 all being sold together with a boat slip. We also continue to take folks out and about in an effort to find that perfect spot when there aren’t many perfect spots available.
You never know which way a hurricane will head until you’re looking back on its path, let’s hope she doesn’t do too much damage and instead that we can all enjoy what will be one of the most fun weeks in recent memory!
