How’s business? Slower than we’d like though as to be expected this time of year. We are still getting good activity on listings even for this time of year and have some buyers getting very close to making decisions. We are also still in need of more listings. We’ve stated exactly that repeatedly in the past and you’ve responded beautifully…do it again?
The great news is the views are opening and you can get a much better idea of the overall look of a Lake Keowee piece of land or home with those pesky leaves on the ground instead of in the trees. We’ve listed a few spectacular lots over the couple of weeks and they are begging for you buyers to come out and see them in their leafless glory. Check out Lot 56 Point Harbor, Lot 5 Laurel Ridge, and Lot 6 Laurel Ridge. We also have a couple of houses we hope to get on the market soon, probably sometime soon after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Finally, we are going to get some nice cold weather around Lake Keowee. Over the next few days, the weatherman is calling for highs in the 50’s with some frost warnings at night. Lookout, we might be heading deep into a southern winter. In a month or so we might even have a freeze warning. Probably too much to ask for a white Christmas. But let’s do it anyway. Please, Old Man Winter, give us a white Christmas (just for a day – not real big on long snow events, we just want to borrow some snow for a little while).
The bad news is we only have a couple of new listings to take pictures of. Everything is lining up except you fence sitters. Now is a great time to put your Lake Keowee home or lot on the market as there are still plenty of buyers in the market. We can help you by letting you know the current value of your home. I know you didn’t get to Lake Keowee nearly enough to support the investment you’ve made. We can help and we can do it right now!
You’re invited, of course. The only requirement is that you make an appointment to see Mike and/or Matt Roach at Top Guns Realty to discuss either your interest in touring available properties or houses depending on your needs or your interest in putting your HalloKeoween property on the market and collecting and nice pre-Christmas time lump sum that will definitely take care of all your holiday shopping (see phone number and email addresses below).
We get a Lake Keowee listing, we get it sold. Quickly. How quickly? There…that quickly. That’s been the theme lately. The fast turn-around time on listings of Lake Keowee property has led to a great situation for you potential sellers. Let’s say you’ve been sitting on that Lake Keowee waterfront lot (or interior with boat slip) for years, hoping to do something with it but never finding the time. Well, maybe now is the time to turn it around quickly and get maximum dollars before the end of 2023 and the presidential election year of 2024. This also works for Lake Keowee waterfront or interior homes, by the way.
We’re going to focus on the beautiful days around Lake Keowee right now to try and avoid thinking about the tough weekend for the Tigers and Gamecocks. Coach Swinney has said, “The fun in in the winning” many times over the years. That means you Duke, North Carolina and even Florida State fans are having a blast. Congratulations! Well played. We Clemson and Carolina fans are hoping to have more fun next weekend. Lake Keowee real estate is the focus today….ergghhheee.
Around Lake Keowee there is a new level of excitement as we enter the football season. The of the really great things about Lake Keowee being so close to Clemson University is you can tailgate on the Lake for pregame then head to your (or your friend’s) tailgate spot at the stadium! You can also rent out your home for a pretty penny on those days if you are in a community that allows such. There aren’t that many houses that fit that bill but luckily, we have one that does! Check out 231 Hughes St.
For the most part, the inventory of good Lake Keowee waterfront property has been lower than the demand that currently exists. We still get listings that go under contract within days of hitting the market. Seems like that has been the norm for years now (at least since the first few months of Covid). Though, that is not what “normal” will be forever. The point being that you potential sellers need to sell while the selling is good. Buyers, just keep on keeping on. We’re working hard to get you guys the inventory you are looking for.
Hot summer days on Lake Keowee. Is there anywhere else you’d rather be? The ocean? No, too salty. The mountains? Too bumpy. A field in the middle of Kansas? Too Toto and Dorothy. Lake Keowee is the perfect place to be this time of year to keep cool and turn hot days into great fun. In a fit of insanity, I decided to bush hog some property around noon yesterday. After an hour I realized this is better done in the early morning or late afternoon or even never. Fortunately, I was able to cool off in Keowee once I was done and it made everything all the better.
