Around Lake Keowee it’s been very active, which isn’t surprising for the month of August, and “Southern warm” (which is code for hot and humid to our brethren from the north). Temperatures will be in the lower 90’s for the remainder of the week with a good chance of afternoon thunderstorms. You know the best time to be out on Lake Keowee? All of the time of course, but in particular I really love the late afternoon times just after a good thunderstorm has rolled on through. That’s when everyone has gotten off the lake and the temperatures have dropped a tad. It usually includes an incredible sunset as a bonus.

How’s business? Fantastic! We’ve closed over 4 million dollars in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate over the past week and put over 6 million dollars in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate under contract. We were also able to put a 4000 sq. ft. large log, Lake Keowee waterfront log home on the market. It’s on an incredible piece of real estate. Don’t expect it to last too long on the market.

Obviously, all of that has kept us busy. But not so busy that we can’t take on some new listings. We’re still scrambling to get Lake Keowee waterfront listings as now is the time to sell. We have a good number of buyers looking for a variety of things and currently we can’t find something for everyone. That’s where y’all come in. The summer is concluding and you’ve had your fun.
