Around Lake Keowee people are gearing up for the final big weekend of the summer. Yep, that’s right the summer of 2022 is coming to a close. The really great news is that it means we are getting close to fall around Lake Keowee! One of our favorite 4 seasons!

The fall in our area, to put it bluntly, is spectacular. The cool, crisp air hits, the skies get that special clear blue and the leaves -oooohhh, the leaves- turn their special vibrant colors. The temperatures stay high enough, long enough to keep folks swimming, skiing and jet skiing into the beginning of October. Right around October 15^th get your eyes ready for the colorful spectacle that is as THE leaf show on the east coast as it will be ramping up into full swing.

Did I mention it’s also college football season in the south (OK, fine it’s all across the country, too). Clemson’s first game will be Labor Day night where they will meet up with the Ramblin’ Wreck of Georgia Tech (Leonard’s Losers in a not very close one Georgia Tech) If you know, you know. All kinds of great memories with this time of year.
