Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Inventories Increasing
On Lake Keowee at one point, just a few months back, there were a total of 17 waterfront houses available. That number has now blossomed to 51. The few things to note are that there are NO homes truly on the water that are under $1M, the average list price is $2,800,000 and the median list price is $2,574,750. Right now, it’s pretty expensive to be a waterfront home owner on Lake Keowee and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
A big factor with this is that more folks are working from home. As long as you have a good Internet connection you can work from anywhere. Will that change? Will employers force people to spend more time back in an office environment? How will this new dynamic change our lives?
A friend sent me a video the other day of a robotic beer vending machine. It’d card you, serve you and take your money. No bartender involved. No conversation, flirting, complaining nothing socially interactive, but you did get your beer and it could serve it to you anytime without complaining or looking for a bigger tip. What a brave new world we’re headed into. I think.
As for us we had a nice little week. We were able to put one lot under contract, write up two other offers (that didn’t work out) and close on two Lake Keowee waterfront properties. Doing what we need to do though we do need to (do) more listing contracts. Folks are happy with their Lake Keowee investments and enjoying everything Lake Keowee has to offer. Don’t want to leave? Can’t blame anyone for that but if you decide to leave we’re here for you!
