Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Cool Water
We’re in need of the cool, clear waters of Lake Keowee these late June days as the temperatures have jumped into the 90’s. Plenty of folks are out taking advantage of the relief the water gives. Over the weekend we traveled all around Keowee, enjoying the cool spray and taking several dips. It’s a lot better than mowing the grass.
We’re only a week or so away from July 4th and the high point of the 2024 selling season. Now is the time for you guys to get your property on the market. Here is the plan. You contact us, we tell you what a great price you can get for your property. You list it, we sell it and you close in 60 or so days from the first contact. That way you get to use your property for all of July and August then take the cash in September.
How was last week? Added a new listing, working on 2 new contracts. Not bad, but not as good as the week before. Help us make next week better! Send us your friends looking to buy or sell around Lake Keowee. We will treat them right!
Paint
It should come as no surprise that surveys show that painting the exterior of your home results in the greatest return on time and money invested when compared to other improvements done for selling purposes. An investment of $1,000-$2,000 can mean adding $3,000 – $4,000 to your asking price. And if you can do a good job yourself, your profit is even greater.
Even if your home doesn’t need the full treatment, check the trim around windows and doorways for cracking or peeling, and do any necessary touch-up work.
