If you own up on the north end of Lake Keowee, say in the Cliffs Falls North community you could pull your boat out of Keowee and be on Lake Jocassee in less than 15 minutes.

Lake Jocassee has Devil’s Fork State Park as the main entrance point. There you will find camping, both tent and RV, park offices with a store that even has fishing rods you can use to try and catch some brown trout or the like. This is also where the main landing is located with plenty of parking and easy water access. Across from the landing is the recreational area where you can rent canoes, etc. and a beach for just hanging out. Even if you’re on the southern end of Keowee you’re only around 30 minutes from Jocassee.
