Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Winter Weather

Jan 10, 2024 | Posted by topguns | Uncategorized |

As I write this Lake Keowee real estate expert blog the clouds are dumping buckets of rain onto our office roof. All of this water is filling up creeks and making a mad dash straight to the lakes. The temperature is high enough to keep us from having snow but low enough to keep a sane person from reenacting any old Hollywood musicals (Singing in the Rain) because 34 degrees with a high of 54 is hardly worth singing about. We will have a crystal-clear day on Thursday with a high of 58 and I don’t doubt we’ll have a day in the 70’s fairly soon along with some snow shortly after. Winter in South Carolina; textbook climatological schizophrenia.

We are closing just under a couple hundred thousand in real estate this week and will be putting $3M in real estate on the Lake Keowee real estate market. We will also be meeting with folks to speak about putting a few million more on the market soon. A week in the life of Lake Keowee real estate experts Mike and Matt Roach. The fun is in the doing and we try to be doing Lake Keowee real estate every day.

If you get our mailer, you know now is the time to get your Lake Keowee real estate ready for the selling season. College baseball season is only a month or so away. Time to get outside and almost past time to find that special piece of Lake Keowee real estate or possibly time for you to trade in your old piece of Lake Keowee real estate for a newer and shinier one.

Questions to ask while shopping for your loan
Loan Qualification – Different lenders may qualify you using different formulas. Make sure you understand how you’re being evaluated.
Points – Think of these as prepaid interest charged by the lender. One point equals 1 percent of the face amount of your loan. In some cases points are paid up front; in others they’re bundled into the loan. The later saves you money up front but costs you more over the life of the loan. No-point loans also save you money up front, but lenders usually charge one-quarter to on-half point more than in the case of loans with points. Be sure to look at what your total costs will be over the life of the loan.
