Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Smooth Sailing
Like Fonz hanging out with Richie and Potsie, Lake Keowee real estate is cruising right along. Can you believe we are already a third of the way through 2021? It’s been a blur and we expect activity to continue to ramp up at least through the middle of July. You may ask, “do you see anything slowing down the Lake Keowee real estate market?”
Yes. Is the short answer. As you can’t sell what isn’t for sale (for you folks who just said, yes you can, I agree sometimes it works out that you can but that’s no way to run a real estate market) and right now there is not enough for sale to make all of the buyers happy. We’ve been fortunate to keep up with buyers by adding new listings on a weekly basis but the “just in time” model for Lake Keowee real estate is nearly impossible to maintain for any length of time. There needs to be some listings for folks to shop through for the market to stay healthy and right now we just don’t have that.
