Hello Lake Keowee! Welcome to 2024! Remembering to write the correct year, especially in early January, has always been one of those things I tend to have a hard time adapting to. In fact, I’ve already screwed it up (thank you Mr. Backspace Key). But Time marches onward, it seems like just 36 years ago we started selling real estate on Lake Keowee. Oh, that’s right …it has been that long. Fortunately, it’s been a lot of fun! Hopefully, they’ll come up with some miracle pill that will let us sell it for another 36. I can imagine walking up and down a steep lot at age 90 might be a bit of a chore if something doesn’t change.

Business over the last few days has been brisk as we’ve had a few folks looking at the current lot and housing market as well as finalizing a couple of listings we will be bringing on the market shortly. No closings as everyone seems to have taken many of the last several days off. Go figure. With those bits of activity, we expect to start out 2024 with a bang. The overall market remains in the sellers favor as we are still short of inventory. It will be interesting to see how this will change in 2024. It appears that things will be steady as she goes.
