It’s the final full week of 2023 around Lake Keowee. We’ve been inundated with rain over the past few days and boy we needed it! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a lot of rain come down and the water table has been showing it. The good news is it wasn’t too cold so we didn’t get snow. The white stuff is picturesque and “Christmasy”, but it sure does make it difficult to get any Lake Keowee real estate business done.

Bill Martin, science operations officer at the National Weather Service office in Greer, said Tuesday most places in Oconee and Pickens counties received at least 2 inches of rain on Sunday and Monday combined.
