Keowee Expert Blog The Coolness

Sep 18, 2019 | Posted by matt | Uncategorized |

Cool fall nights around Lake Keowee! Well, not quite yet. The nice thing about last night was that around 7:30 it was very pleasant with just a hint of autumn in the air. During the day it was totally summertime. That’s alright. You know why? We sell Lake Keowee real estate. We like it when it is hot and perfect for spending time in the lake. Cooler temperatures will be here before we know it and that’s really something to get excited about. Any opportunity to spark up the fire pit and enjoy some outdoor relaxation time is a legitimate opportunity if you ask me!

We were able to get another house listed over the past week. It is an almost brand new, Lake Keowee waterfront home with a very gently walk down to its own private covered dock. Check out 382 Hideaway Cove here. We were also able to get a Lake Keowee waterfront home under contract. You’ve always got to replace the sold ones with a new one. Mission accomplished.

Everyone is looking forward to a good fall for Lake Keowee real estate. Activity will continue to slow as we get closer to January then begin to pick up again around March. That’s not to say there won’t be Lake Keowee real estate sold in during the winter. In fact, in our humble opinion, winter is one of the best times to buy. The leaves will be off of the trees so you will get a better idea of everything around you and there are fewer buyers to compete against so sellers are usually a bit more motivated to make a great deal. We’ll be here to help all year long.
When it comes to buying and selling on and around Lake Keowee we bring the most experience to the table. If we’re not already helping you to buy or sell and you are looking to, give us a call, text or email!

How To Avoid Paying Too Much
Tip No. 4
Once you have a clear, detailed picture of the home you want, make sure your agent has the same picture. This communication is critical. Otherwise, you’ll both waste your time looking at homes you’re really not interested in. Also, make sure your Realtor knows your priorities. Your sahred goal is to find a place that meets all of your needs; your Realtor will then try to satisfy as many of your desires as possible.
A good Realtor will aks you several questions about what you’re looking for and what you can afford. And they’ll listen carefully to your answers.

“We are in favor of regulation on the short-term rental issue and we’re in favor of property rights. This is definitely a complicated issue.” John Pulliam Local Realtor
