Lake Keowee interested folks, did you hear? The Moon holds more water in more places than ever thought says an article in the Seneca Daily Journal. That means we humans should have the means to break out of the gravitational pull of the earth more easily as we could create rocket fuel, etc. on the moon. Ferry equipment up there; then launch missions from there. 

That’s very exciting news for the human race. Kind of like when Duke began the process of building Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. Far flung goals that have created magnificent advancements for our society. It’s truly impressive what we humans can accomplish.  Everyone doing their part in society leading to incredible discoveries. Being open to change, growth and doing things that will benefit future generations. 

If it hadn’t been for all of those visionaries who created Lake Keowee, our lives would certainly be different. We wouldn’t have been able to put 3 more Lake Keowee waterfront lots under contract along with one more Lake Keowee waterfront home. All of those buyers wouldn’t have a great place to soon call home; a place that with a lot of vision and a lot of work is one of the most beautiful places in the world (see last week’s blog)!

Don’t neglect the minor details

Ironically, some of the big-budget items you might consider spending your money on will do little to enhance the marketability of your home. Aluminum siding for example, is prized by some and loathed by others. Hot tubs may or may not appeal to potential buyers. Watch out for changes that you may find appealing but end up limiting your home’s appeal to others…
