Spooky times are afoot on the Lake Keowee. We’re planning a HUGE party and the guest list is coming together nicely. We’ve already gotten confirmed RSVPs from Jason, Michael and Freddy, definite maybes from Scoob, Shaggy and the gang, and a request for an invite from the Hocus Pocus witches (we said no). We’ll be participating in the usual fanfare including bobbing for beheaded apples, pin the machete on the donkey, and my favorite, the corn maze.

WALHALLA — Property taxes will hold neutral for primary homeowners in Oconee County, while non-residents will see a slight decrease in their upcoming tax bill issued later this year.
