You see it everywhere, often afloat in the coves of the beautiful waters of Lake Keowee. A flimsy yellow/green carpet on top of the water: pollen. It’s that time of year and we all have to figure out a way to survive it again. It may be a key link in the seasonal growth of the local flora but personally I can’t wait until it’s gone. On the car, on the solar panels, on the deck, in your nose. The good news is it really doesn’t last that long and all other life can continue without the nasty inconvenience.

Fortunately for us it doesn’t stop folks from being excited about Lake Keowee waterfront real estate. Another fantastic week as we’ve been able to put two Lake Keowee waterfront lots under contract and expect to put a Lake Keowee waterfront home under contract shortly. We’re also putting a beautiful Lake Keowee waterfront home on the market in the next couple of days which should go under contract quickly. More good news about all of that business is we still have a job! But the bad news is if we don’t get some more listings to sell we’ll be out of said job. That’s where y’all come in. We are barreling into the summer, and this is the best time to be on the market as the property views rise significantly between now and mid-July. We’re also dealing with interest rate hikes and all that comes with them. Don’t let to much water flow under the bridge before making the decision.

Front Door

Replace or repaint worn front door to create a good impression
Polish or add brass door knocker.
Make sure front door has a working peephole.
Check doorbell and repair or replace as necessary.
Replace worn mailbox.
Make sure house number is clearly visible and attractive.
Polish, repair and/or replace all door handles and locks. Makes sure all outside doors have dead-bolts or other safety locks.
