Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Graduation!
It’s that time of year around Lake Keowee: graduation time. Clemson University just had their graduation ceremonies and now the local High Schools are gearing up for theirs over the next couple of weeks. With that comes a slight lull before the market really heats up to its highest temperature of the year, the dates between June 6th and about July 16th. These are the days to have your Lake Keowee property on the market if you want to get the highest value.
If you’ve concluded that you will not be using your Lake Keowee property as much as you’d like this coming summer now is the time to think hard about selling it. The market is still in a good place as demand is way ahead of supply. This situation can turn on a dime, all it takes is a disruption in the economy and your high dollar investment can become significantly less in the short term. With no promises as to how long it’ll take to come back (used to be around 5 years, give or take, but more recently 10 years it seems 10 years has been the norm). If you’re not using it, let somebody else have some fun and you pocket a nice chunk of change!
We’ll be happy to discuss the current value for your Lake Keowee land or home. We can then discuss if it makes sense to put it on the market. Talking ti through will help you make the best decision!
