Lake Keowee has had enough rain, at least for awhile. Seems like every morning lately we’ve woken up to cloudy gloomy skies with, you guessed it, rain. Get an hour or so of sun, swing through the car wash and the next morning the rain gets you again. It is to be expected this time of year and it’s not as bad as I’m making it sound. Just feels that way when the days are so short.

But they are getting longer! Every day we get another minute or so of sunshine as we barrel towards the summer solstice. Before we know it we will be looking at the sun going down at 8:30 again. Daylight Savings is only 52 days away (didn’t we get rid of that last year? Guess it didn’t take.)! With the longer days will come more buyers of Lake Keowee real estate which means you guys thinking of selling should be getting your property looking its very best. Call the maintenance people, landscapers, etc. Get on their list because all of the good ones are getting booked up. Stop the procrastination! We need your property looking immaculate in order to get you the most money in the least amount of time with the least amount of stress!

It’s been a good week! We were able to put a house, 4 lake Keowee interior properties and a Lake Keowee waterfront home under contract! That’s a lot better than December. Folks have come out of the holidays looking to make their Lake Keowee dream come true. Problem is we need more inventory to make them happy. That’s where you sellers come in, do your thing…sell (by listing with us of course!). And somebody do something about this weather!
