Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Indian Summer

Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Indian Summer

Nov 9, 2022 | Posted by matt | Uncategorized |

Seems the summer of 2022 around Lake Keowee doesn’t want to leave. We’re seeing the leaves change as fall desperately tries to situate itself but the temperatures seem content to remain as they were. Days with highs in the lower 80’s make it ideal to keep getting on the lake. Let’s just call it bonus time! Aren’t we just the luckiest folks on the planet! Yes. Yes we are.

Business is, as to be expected slow. We’ve had some serious interest in our latest listings but didn’t have anyone pull the trigger over the past week. Gotta believe, with election day upon us, everyone is waiting to see what happens prior to making a major decision. It will be interesting to see what happens next. How about a bit of peace and good decisions (at least according to me), that’d be nice.

Let us help you get your Lake Keowee real estate SOLD! Unless this is your first Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog you understand we’ve been selling property on Lake Keowee since 1989 and have seen many ups and downs. The good news is we will be here next week and for several more years to come, continuing to help folks just like you get your Lake Keowee real estate sold for the most money possible, in the least amount of time with the least amount of stress!

How to Sell Your Home For The Highest Price Possible
Here’s how to avoid mistakes that could cost hundreds, even thousands of dollars, when you sell your home.
The old notion of caveat emptor – “buyer beware” – has been turned on its head. Lately, with all of the talk about “buyers’ markets” and “changing real estate values,” as well as the myriad complexities and legal ramifications of today’s real estate transaction, a more appropriate sentiment may be “seller beware.”
Watch Out For Traps
Beware of “splitting the difference”
For example, say you’re asking $200,000 and they offer you $180,000. You figured you’d probably only get $190,000 anyway so you split the difference and counteroffer $190,000. Rather than taking your offer, the buyer decides to play the same game and counters with $185,000.
Now you’re stuck. If you split again, you’re stuck making an offer that’s lower than your minimum. But if you reject it flat out, you may lose the deal!
