Around Lake Keowee this week we are experiencing a few rainy days with calls for approximately 3 to 5 inches. A subtle way to transition us into those perfect, crystal clear fall days with mosaics of natural color abounding. It isn’t cold yet, not even chilly, but it won’t be long; the trees are starting to show the season. You know “the season”, the one with the overabundance of pumpkin spice products, cable knit sweaters and football. Not to mention a fantastic time to put your Lake Keowee home or lot on the market.
Many a year we’d say now may not be the best time to list your Lake Keowee real estate, but with the market we have currently, now is an excellent time. Many folks are in the market AND you’ve been able to use your lake property all summer. You can sell it almost immediately and let someone else maintain it over the winter.
How’s business? Good, though it could be a lot better if we had more listings. We will be bringing on a couple of lots over the next week that we expect to get under contract fairly quickly and we were able to close just shy of $2.5M in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate last week putting us just shy of $40M for the year. To break the $45M barrier we are going to need those listings referred to a couple of sentences ago.
