We use the word “beautiful” to describe Lake Keowee as much as any word. That’s because fits perfectly. In point of fact if you take a look at our dictionary there is a picture of Lake Keowee (one we took of course) right next to the word as we believe there is no better visualization it. So do you get it? It’s really really pretty around here – sorry, beautiful (but of course it’s very pretty as well – don’t get me started again).

And I digress. What do you want to know?… Since you can’t actually answer as (you’re the reader and I can’t hear you, per se) let’s assume you’re looking for information about Lake Keowee real estate. In particular from Mike and Matt Roach’s Lake Keowee real estate point of view. You’re reading the right blog! It’s been a really good week. We’ve already put 5 Lake Keowee waterfront lots under contract and expect to add one more along with a house, possibly two, today. It’s October. Those are July-esque numbers, which reinforces how beautiful Lake Keowee is this time of year, especially when you have to social distance everywhere you go.

The market remains very strong with buyers still out and about in force. Obviously this is a great opportunity for you sellers on the fence to hop off. There are some potential headwinds on the way, though that’s true all of the time. Until they hit us, we’ll keep on keeping on. Then when they do we will do the same. We’ve seen a lot of winds over 30 plus years of Lake Keowee real estate and learned to adjust accordingly. Climb aboard the Top Guns Train and let’s make your lake home dreams a reality!

Don’t neglect the minor details

It’s often the little things that really stand out. If your mailbox is in poor shape, replace it. Varnish or repaint your door if it needs it. A door knocker and brass kick plate can also be a nice addition. Spruce up the entryway with new light fixtures, potted plants and other decorative touches.

With the exception of adding a deck or patio, most of the steps I’ve touched on here can be accomplished in relatively little effort and without a lot of money. But the difference in the impression your home makes on prospective buyers will be dramatic…
