Keowee Expert Blog Back to School
And just like that, Lake Keowee summer 2019 vanished. The school districts are back in session for the fall term which is an exhilarating time for both kids and parents alike as they all get familiar with the new teachers, pick-up/drop-off times, sports, clubs, hooking back up with old friends and making new ones and the other activities that come with the school year. It also marks a shift in the Lake Keowee real estate market as we say goodbye to summer for the kids and begin to look at the fall selling season, even though there are like 30 more actual days of summer remaining.
Both parents and grandparents often think about buying and selling real estate based on what their kids and grandkids have going on. What we’re seeing right now is a late summer listing push as several folks have decided it is time to put their Lake Keowee property on the market. We have two houses hitting the market in the next couple of days and have had 2 more lots that have gone on the market over the past couple of weeks. We’re also fielding several calls from folks considering selling. The bottom line is, even though school is back in session, folks are still buying and selling Lake Keowee real estate albeit with a little different mindset and an eye towards enjoying the leaves changing and football season.
