How About Them Tigers!

How About Them Tigers!

Jan 3, 2019 | Posted by matt | Uncategorized |

Go Tigers! On to the National Championship. I know all of you guys had a fantastic holiday season. Even if there were times when you wished you could pull your hair out and burn it for warmth in a cabin all by yourself deep in the woods. There were probably more times when you didn’t want to do that which is all we can hope for after all.

Good news for us is we got to go to Dallas/Arlington Texas to watch the Clemson Tigers dismantle the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They, as a fan base at the game, were not surprisingly very confident in their chances to win. That went away about mid-way through the second quarter. All and all, the AT&T stadium and the Six Flags close by were everything we could ask for and made for a wonderful time. If you ever have an opportunity to visit that area I highly recommend it.

What does this all have to do with Lake Keowee real estate? Well, the Clemson Tigers wining means there is one of the most highly successful football programs of our times just minutes away from the lake. It also means continued growth of that university giving us folks who live nearby more fun things to do than just enjoy one of the most beautiful lakes in the world (as if you needed more). All things will and do come to an end so we plan to enjoy every second of it while it lasts. To that end we will be in Santa Clara, California next Monday to enjoy the Tigers romping over Bammer. So, don’t call us Monday, Tuesday will be fine.

We remain busy with business as we’ve had some really good tours on some of our higher end homes. We expect we’ll get at least one of those under contract soon. We’re also seeing good activity on the Web site which should mean a good start to 2019. Keep your fingers crossed!

Happy New Year!

How To Sell Your Home For the Highest Price Possible
Over the next several weeks we’ll go over how to avoid mistakes that could cost hundreds, even thousands of dollars, when you sell your home.
The old notion of caveat emptor – “buyer beware” – has been tuned on its head. Lately, with all the talk about “buyers’ markets” and “changing real estate values,” as well as the myriad complexities and legal ramifications of today’s real estate transaction, a more appropriate sentiment may be “seller beware.”
The average home seller may feel like a lamb in the lion’s den. In such adverse conditions, it seems everyone is out to pull the rug -and your profits – right out from under you.
But even during the best economic times, hundreds of home owners still throw money away because of poorly made decisions during the sales of their homes.
This information is designed to give you the tools you need to protect your most important investment when it’s time to sell. Before you put your house on the market, follow this informative guide to reap the maximum rewards possible.
