It’s the time of year around Lake Keowee when the leaves are all down and we all, hopefully, get a chance to spend precious time with our loved ones (regardless of the bickering) and make some lasting memories. Keep in mind, if it ain’t fun now, it’ll be funny later so just try to have fun with whoever you’re with. It looks like the weather will be spectacular with highs in the mid-50’s and partly cloudy skies. Good for traveling and a beautiful, high 40’s day on Saturday for the Clemson/Carolina football game. For the Gamecocks this will be their bowl game; for the Tigers this will be an opportunity for revenge for last year’s defeat, and for both this will be for a year’s worth of lackluster braggin’. I hear there’s a movement among both fan bases to just skip the game altogether and have a big ol’ Southern cookout this year since we’re both just not good… not good at all.

Believe it or not, there are still folks thinking about buying and selling Lake Keowee real estate. We’ve had a couple of tours this week and have closed one property so far with another set to close next week. Outside of that, things have slowed down as folks get into the holiday mood. We do expect to see a burst of activity before Christmas as folks have a bit more time to look at property, even though the hours of usable daylight may not comply.
