Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Rain Go Away!
So it looks like it’s going to rain around Lake Keowee tonight…again. For a while there looked like we’d never see the sun again as we endured 5 days in a row of rain on Lake Keowee. I’m guessing somehow we needed it, but the mud at the mail box says not that much (that’s a new one, feel free to use it with your friends). The good news is the lake levels are high and the sun finally came out for a day before running away again (apparently to the place where elephants go to die because nobody can find it) this afternoon. The weekend looks crystal clear, albeit a bit on the chilly side. May not want to get the Jet Ski out to tool around Keowee just yet (heck, why not – just wear a wet suit. 51 degrees is not that cold when you’re wet in the wind. Or is it?).
How’s business? Great! We keep plunging forward, listing a property and putting it under contract. We were able to put 2 waterfront lots under contract this week and closed 7 lots sides and 2 house sides for a total volume of just shy of $2.5M. That’s a fantastic week for February, in fact for any week of the year!
