July 4, 2024 is in the rear-view mirror meaning half the year is there, as well. Anytime I think about time nowadays it feels like it is speeding up. Is it? Wasn’t it just Christmas? Maybe, Christmas in July. That’s why we all must focus hard on living our absolute best lives. You never know when you will finish the race. Obviously, it’s easier to enjoy life when you do things like own a piece of property on Lake Keowee where you can launch a jet ski any time you have the compulsion (or compelsion if you’re from Mayberry). As I’ve said more than once, it’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you’re cruising the lake on one of those.
As to be expected, with a good economy, we are selling a good amount of Lake Keowee real estate. Over the past week we’ve been able to cobble together a million plus dollar house sale along with an interior lot with boat slip sale. We’ve also lined up another good waterfront lot listing, though there are a few things that must be done prior to it hitting the market. Our plan is to continue this success for the rest of 2024. It will be interesting to see how the elections affect things. We usually experience a bit of a lull but have yet to see it. Folks seem to be very comfortable with how the markets, employment, etc. are performing.
It’s not all roses and sunflowers because we still need more listings! We continue to sell what we list in an abrupt and judicious manner, putting us out of a job until we get more Lake Keowee real estate to sell.
