The Lake Keowee real estate market has been a little whipsaw the past couple of weeks as we’ve enjoyed periods of fevered activity followed by opportunities to get long put off projects completed. The uncertainty seems to be due to interest rate hikes though there are still plenty of folks anxious to buy Lake Keowee real estate, making it still a great time for you sellers.
We were able to put two more lots under contract over the past week. Both are interior properties in Lake Keowee communities. That is an excellent option for folks who don’t want to break the bank for a Lake Keowee waterfront home. You can spend more money on the home, less on the lot and still have a boat on the water to use at your leisure, just have to take a golf cart ride to get there, but there are already plenty of Lake Keowee waterfront homes where the owners have been doing just that.
