Lake Keowee Expert Blog A New President
Well Lake Keowee folks, the election is finally over. It’s been quite a ride and no matter which side you are on, you’re probably glad for it to be. It’s difficult to know how the President Biden era will effect Lake Keowee real estate. Probably the biggest issue is going to be what happens with the Covid – 19 vaccine. The good news came out over the past week that Pfizer has one that’s shown 90% effectiveness at this point in the trials. An important step towards normality, it would appear.
Currently we continue to experience a very hot market around Lake Keowee and from what I gather from other reports in real estate in general. When you’re forced to stay home, you start to take a hard look at your surroundings and, in many cases, deciding to make a change – especially when you realize you don’t have to go to an office to work. As long as that continues, real estate sales will be strong. When it stops….?
How has the week been for us? Exceptionally good for the first few days of November. We’ve put one Lake Keowee waterfront home under contract and three more Lake Keowee waterfront lots as well. We’ve also brought on the market a new Lake Keowee waterfront lot and are adding two more as soon as we can get the under brushing completed. That’s a mid-June type of week. Really exciting stuff. We expect to see continued activity at a higher level than normal, especially for this time of year, through the end of November. Once it gets really cold outside, and the leaves are off of the trees, the abatement of activity will probably be more noticeable.
