Keowee Expert Blog The Perfect Spot
Don’t you just love it when the leaves change around Lake Keowee? I know we’ve spoken of this before, as recently as the last Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog, but it bears repeating as it’s such a special time. Crisp, clear blue skies and trees with shades of orange, yellow, purple, browns and reds. Just writing it makes me want to go outside and get a fire going with a cup of hot coco and scarf down a slab of pumpkin pie – yep, do them all at the same time, I’m a multitasker.
More good news as buyers also like this time of year around Lake Keowee. This is when its dual use comes into play, that is, as a Lake place and a mountain place. Can’t get that on the coast of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, nor Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas. You can still enjoy boating as we have mild temperatures for much of the fall and winter AND you can also enjoy all that the surrounding mountains have to offer in towns such as Highlands and Cashiers just a short drive away.
This along with the urge for folks to have a place away from crowds of people continues to lead to a very robust Lake Keowee real estate selling season. We were able to put 2 Lake Keowee waterfront houses and 5 Lake Keowee waterfront lots under contract. That’s putting the pedal to the metal for October. The only thing we are missing now is more listings to get sold!
