Keowee Expert Blog Merry Christmas!
Christmas is just a few short days away and it looks as if lots of folks around the Lake Keowee area have the spirit. With the advent of LED lighting the whole experience has been amped up more than a few notches. I can remember when a string of lights was a huge deal and extremely dangerous as they would become scorching hot to the touch. The perfect match to a dry, not so freshly cut tree (get it? Match and match? I’m becoming puntacular). You’d almost never leave the room with them plugged in much less leave them for days. They were barely safer than lit candles, but we made due as we’d just walked up a rock strewn mountain, back and forth from school in the deep snow barefooted that we see so often in the south.
We have been able to put another house and a Lake Keowee waterfront lot under contract over the past week. Not too shabby for December. Lots of people have been taking advantage of the great interest rates and the good deals to further their dreams of owning a Lake Keowee property. Those deals on top of the others we cobbled together over the past few weeks will lead to a really good start to 2020 (that sounds so futuristic – where did you think you’d be in 2020 when you were stringing those caustic heat lamps around your tree?). Hopefully setting us up for another great year!
