Around Lake Keowee things are beginning to get back to normal as crews cut trees off power enabling the lights to glow, ACs to pump precious cool air and the internet to hum back to life. It’d be interesting to know how many trees came down as Helene cut its path of destruction. We know there were plenty enough to cause some real headaches for a lot of people. A lot of loss for a lot of people. Our most sincere prayers are with you all.
Business must go on and we had to do lots of business before ,during and after the storm as listings, under contract homes, rental properties etc. had trees down all around. Getting folks here, there and everywhere while trying to reschedule closings, inspections, etc. It’s been quite the busy week. We did close a Lake Keowee waterfront home, but not a lot of tour activity going on currently. We expect it to get back to normal soon.
Find a charity, give what you can. There are a lot of people in need of help. Looks like there will be a lot more folks in need of help in the mid Florida area, as well. Just have to keep pushing forward!
