School's IN!
Took the kids back to school this morning but it didn’t seem quite right for some reason, such a beautiful warm day to be going back to school. We should have been headed to Lake Keowee for a swim or to Lake Jocassee to explore instead. Summer goes by way too fast, even more so nowadays. The only real downside to that eternal summer vacation being uneducated kids so there’s that.
School is always in for us and has been now for 26 years for me and 31 years for Mike – that’s teaching the school of Lake Keowee real estate (we learn or see something new everyday)! If we’re not your agent, then ask your current agent exactly how long they’ve been selling Lake Keowee real estate, I can almost guarantee you not NEARLY as long. Long doesn’t always mean good, but in our case you know it means better than good. We’ve got the numbers and the loyal fans to back up these confident claims.
How’s business? Apparently it didn’t have kids that had to go back to school. We’re working on another 4 contracts and closed a lot last week. There’s been an interesting uptick in lots over $300,000 around the lake going under contract over the past 15 days. There is some spectacular inventory in that price range, but most folks have been buying lower. To see several of these go under contract recently gives us an awfully good feeling about the future!
