Blessed Clouds
We’ve been blessed with cloud cover and sporadic rainfall for the past several days which has mitigated the stifling heat July and August have been heaping upon us. It’s also helped, as I referred to last week, to lessen the severity of the drought situation. I’m sure the Clemson football team’s (and quite possibly your favorite team’s) lives have been made better for it as well – who am I kidding, it’s not like it was when we were growing up. Indoor practice facilities didn’t exist and getting a drink of water during practice was not only unheard of but not even allowed. My how times have changed. I also had to walk up hill to school both ways barefoot in the snow…but who of us didn’t?
We were able to write up two offers yesterday and are very close to two more (see next week’s Lake Keowee real estate expert blog for confirmation on that). If we can get these all worked out we’ll be only $8,000,000 shy of our $30,000,000 goal for 2016. I feel confident (almost cocky!) we’ll make it, but we need your help!
