No, those trees aren’t supposed to be that way. All over our houses, important wires, cars, etc. We here around Lake Keowee are having to do a bit of clean-up (a bit means a lot) currently as the area struggles to get everything back up and running again. Several folks are still with out power and most are without Internet. Fingers crossed that things can get back to normal for most folks fairly soon. It’s been a difficult few days for sure.

After checking over our Lake Keowee listings, picking up signs, and generally trying to get things rolling again we are at a place where I can at least get this little blog out to the world. We had to delay a few closings and tours over the past few days but have been able to reschedule most things. Once the Internet is fully up and running the process should become much easier. Power and water are certainly the most important utilities, but nowadays Internet is getting to be a closer and closer third. If it weren’t for cell phone hot spots, this and many other things that we had to get done may not be occurring.

Enough complaining. We’ll pull together and get through it. Hope all of you folks got by unscathed. For those who didn’t we hope things get much better soon!
