Around Lake Keowee we do need the rain. We’ve been in drought conditions for a while. Hitting us with three to 4 inches in a day is a bit extreme. It’d be nice if mother nature could spread it out a bit. Fingers crossed it won’t be too detrimental to our area, only mental (I know it’s wrong but kinda funny).

We keep playing and winning most of the time when it comes to Lake Keowee real estate. We were able to put a million-dollar house, a Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards lot and a Cedar Creek lot under contract over the past week. We also closed on a Lake Keowee waterfront lot. The steam is still in the engine so far despite the upcoming elections. We keep waiting for things to slow down but buyers are still buying and sellers are grudging letting loose of their prized Lake Keowee properties.
