The weather around Lake Keowee has been utterly perfect! Incredibly gorgeous days with ideally cool nights. The sky is cobalt blue with clear, long-range views (If you have a Lake Keowee home with long views take some pictures – when it comes time to list, they will be weapons at your disposal!). In the morning the mists rise off the lake creating Robert Frost-like picturesque scenes. Man, we love this time of year!
A good end of October week for us here at Top Guns Realty as we added two Lake Keowee interior homes, 123 Summit Pine in Cedar Creek and 4 Commodore in Keowee Key. Both homes fit great spots in their respective listing categories with Commodore being the lowest priced home in Keowee Key and Summit Pine having a great long-range view with a boat slip in the community boat slip area. We’re excited about the prospect of them going under contract soon!
We need plenty more great listings like those! Right now is a great time for shooting videos and pictures. Let’s meet and discuss if now is a good time for you to list!

Tips for the best deals
Now that you know a little more about mortgages and where they come from, I’ll share with you my tips for getting the best deal and saving yourself a lot of headaches in the process.
Prequalify Before You Shop for a Home – Smart buyers make sure to know exactly how much they can afford to borrow before beginning to look at homes. You can be that the seller’s agent will ask if you’ve been prequalified; if yoiu haven’t, they may decide you’re not a serious buyer. Having a deal in your pocket is always good ammunition in negotiations. (However, I generally have my buyers “preapprove” before they start looking at homes. This is a much more savvy way – you have it in writing, providing you even more leverage when making offers and during negotiations.)
