Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Mid-July is Coming!
So what, you say? How could that be of any importance? Why, it marks the height of activity for Lake Keowee waterfront listings. We get the most views, hits, etc. about mid -July. Then, sadly, activity slowly tapers off, bottoming out around the January/February time. But right now it’s happy time! Smiles everyone! Smiles!
This past year we’ve seen a continued uptick in the average level of activity as several factors, including interest rates and the pandemic, led to more folks being interested in getting their little piece of Lake Keowee heaven. Now is a fantastically good time to put your Lake Keowee real estate on the market (I know I’ve said this before, but some of y’all in the back obviously didn’t hear me).
We’ve been able to get listings each week to keep the pipeline running, but it’s a JIT situation currently. Putting two lots under contract last week was replaced by adding just two lots to the listing inventory during the week. If you take the $1,609,600 in lot volume (5 sides) we closed last week you can see where we’re running into a bottleneck. Hard to close that many sides if you don’t have the numbers you need to sell.
