Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Fire!
Not too far from the shores of Lake Keowee up at Table Rock State Park we had/have a wildfire once raging, now tamed. Unfortunately, some folks were out hiking and made a campfire that ended up spreading to well over 13,100 acres. Crews spent most of their time trying to control where the fire burned vs. putting it out. Making sure to protect the houses in the area as much as possible. Fortunately, no houses were burned, and no lives were lost.
With that as a background for the week, we were still able to sell a couple of Lake Keowee lots! One waterfront in the Waterford Pointe community and one interior with a boat slip in the Wilderness Cove subdivision. We were also able to close a Lake Keowee waterfront lot in Crestview. Did I mention we also listed a Lake Keowee waterfront lot?
The one we listed is one we sold leaving the market with a total of 5 Lake Keowee waterfront lots available that have covered docks. That’s far too few. You need to sell your lot, make lots of money, sit on that money for a while and let it grow, then buy another Lake Keowee lot from us in the future – build a house on that Lake Keowee waterfront lot, live in it for a while….wash, rinse, repeat…you get the idea!
