Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Back to School
Summer is over… or is it? In many folks’ minds, yes it is. BUT (there’s always a “but”, kids) there are still a myriad of opportunities to get out on Lakes Keowee and/or Jocassee, and there will be fewer of us out on the weekdays since the kids will be tied up in the learning factories. The great news is the sun doesn’t go down until 8:30 pm leaving several hours to get out and about and it’s still plenty warm enough to enjoy the water (and will continue to be so until October).
Those are just some of the reasons Lake Keowee is so great. In South Carolina the spring and fall last quite a long time and are, in my opinion, the most beautiful times of the year. As the fall season draws near we start to think about cooler nights and changing leaves. Opportunities to really enjoy those fire pits while still being able to enjoy the lake during the day. Yes, you can have a fire in the middle of summer, but it’s not the same.
Fortunately, plenty of people are still interested in purchasing Lake Keowee real estate this time of year. In fact, our selling season extends through most of the fall as folks get out and about looking at property whilst they also check out the scores of colors the trees’ leaves radiate. Over 2020 and throughout 2021 we’ve enjoyed extended selling seasons as folks have flocked to Keowee. It’s really been fantastic.
Over the past week we’ve been able to close on another Lake Keowee waterfront house as well as putting two Lake Keowee waterfront lots and one Lake Keowee waterfront house under contract. We’re also in the process of listing another Lake Keowee waterfront house and lot. Activity has continued to be at a fever pitch as we’ve had to turn over rocks and kick up mulch to find as many listings as we can.
This again is where you sellers come in. It’s a GREAT time to sell your Lake Keowee real estate for a great price. Even if you just purchased a couple of years ago, an opportunity to sell for more could still be in the cards. Give us a call and let us give you an idea of where you stand.
