Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Little Break
What a great past week on Lake Keowee! We got a little break from the normal July heat with a breath of temperatures in the low 80’s as highs. Some nights were cool enough to enjoy a little outdoor fire in the fire pit. Makes you start thinking about the fall and the crispness of the weather that comes with it – and of course the beauty of the changing leaves. Let’s put an emphasis on the start part as we still have plenty of summer to enjoy.
The kids still have 3 weeks or so of summer before they are back to the grind of school. And I can guarantee they will squeeze every bit of summer out of those days, just like we did. Ah, just to feel that energy level again. Wouldn’t it be great? I took my kids to play golf, jet skiing, sightseeing and out to eat over the weekend. You know what their next question was? Yep, you got it, “What are we going to do now?” and of course I gave the old man answer of, “rest”.
What does all of that have to do with Lake Keowee real estate? Obviously it’s a back door way of telling you there are a lot of buyers still in the market and there is a good bit of prime Lake Keowee real estate buying season to come. If your property is on the market and you’ve not gotten an offer, keep the faith and make some bold moves to get it in selling condition. Is it time for a price change? Probably. The number one thing keeping your property from being someone else’s is the price.
As for sales over the past week, we were able to put another waterfront Lake Keowee lot under contract over the past week as well as close a Lake Keowee waterfront home and two Lake Keowee waterfront lots. We want to keep that going. If you know of anyone looking to sell or buy a Lake Keowee property, let us know! Let them know about us!
Have your real estate agent, and perhaps your real estate attorney, go over all the paperwork before you sign it, making sure that you understand and agree with every part.
