Remember last week when I asked the powers that be to make the rain around Lake Keowee go away? Well, it worked! They gave us an epic weekend The weekend with clear blue skies on Friday and Saturday and a bit of overcast on Sunday before tons of rain again on Monday and an overcast day on Tuesday. Let’s keep looking at the bright side; it’s supposed to be nice for the next several days as well and the lake levels are at prime! It’s going to be an incredible year around Lake Keowee.
We’ve been working hard as usual and having success but with a few bumps in the road. We had one lot get an offer we couldn’t work out, but were able to put two others under contract over the past week. Both are waterfront Lake Keowee properties. One was an unrestricted piece on the north end. Unrestricted property around Lake Keowee is very hard to come by so when it hits the market we often times have folks who have been waiting for just such a situation and they jump all over it.
Interest rates remain choice making it still very cheap to take out a loan. The stock market has taken quite a hit over the past few days with the pandemic fears weighing heavily. Might be a really good time to take some of that cash out and put it in some Lake Keowee real estate, something you can go out and use instead of worrying if it will be there when you need it.
