Keowee Post Independence Day Shift
We’ve reached the summit of activity around Lake Keowee. Not just in real estate, but people hanging out at the lake doing lake things like being on the lake. We’ll see a continued high level of activity over the next few weeks and then we’ll see things begin to taper off slowly. The great thing about our area, as opposed to say the beaches of SC, is we also get a nice boost in activity from the fall colors that will dot the hills and mountains of upstate SC. Water temperatures of Keowee will remain warm enough to swim into mid-October (though you may not want to get out of the water). That’s a lot of time to enjoy swimming and water sports on a mountain type lake with the clarity and beauty of Lake Keowee (and of course there are only 50 days, give or take, until college football season!).
Over the past week we’ve been busting our humps adding 4 new listings to the fold; two new houses 223 Dodgins Lane (https://lakekeoweerealestateexpert.com/homes-for-sale-details/223-DODGINS-LANE-SENECA-SC-29672/20218838/109/) and 1012 Longshore Trail (https://lakekeoweerealestateexpert.com/homes-for-sale-details/1012-LONGSHORE-DRIVE-SALEM-SC-29676/20218788/109/) along with two new lots Lot 15 Keowee Pointe(https://lakekeoweerealestateexpert.com/homes-for-sale-details/LOT-15-LUTHER-LAND-ROAD-SENECA-SC-29672/20218741/109/) and Lot 13 Peninsula Pointe South(https://lakekeoweerealestateexpert.com/homes-for-sale-details/LOT-13-PENINSULA-POINTE-SOUTH-WEST-UNION-SC-29696/20218769/109/). All properties we feel are priced right and ready for any of you looking for that special place on Lake Keowee. “Are there any videos/pictures we can see?” Of course we have video walk-throughs, aerial videos, 360 degree videos and living pictures videos for all of them. If you didn’t notice they are highlighted in blue indicating a “hot link”, please look again and take your time checking them out.
Let’s say you’ve received an offer, made a counteroffer and haven’t heard back from the buyers. Is the deal dead?
Maybe not. You may want to consider making another counteroffer.
To avoid looking like you’ll keep coming down if they just wait you out, go out of your way to make it very clear-through the agent, if possible-that you’ll only do this once. If they don’t take it, you won’t counter again.
