Keowee Expert Blog Championship Week!

We’re getting a lot of stuff done around Lake Keowee before the monstrous weekend that looms ahead of us as we don’t plan on doing any work Saturday through Monday. For those of you whom don’t know, we graduated from Clemson University and are very supportive of our teams, both athletic and otherwise. We plan to head to the New Orleans area and cheer on the Tigers to a remarkable 3^rd national championship in 4 years. I’m sure you LSU fans out there are saying, “…not so fast!” I can understand how you feel, but I reserve the right to dream on.

Good news for our Lake Keowee real estate business is that we are in the midst of a banner month with over $5M in closings set for January. What an excellent start to 2020 and hopefully a preview of things to come! The housing inventory around Keowee is way down with fewer than 100 waterfront homes for sale. The good news is there are several lots we have for sale that would make a perfect spot for your new Lake Keowee waterfront home. If you are thinking about selling, now is the time to get going. If you have a home to sell, in most cases, it will take about a month to get everything taken care of to get her ready for the market. That puts us into mid-February –an awesome time to hit the market. Don’t delay, talk with us today!

Once you’ve let it slip, you can just about forget about negotiating the price – the other side knows how motivated you are. In fact, a seller may see it as an opportunity to squeeze a little more money out of you even when you’ve made a good offer to start. No matter how wonderful a home is, no matter how much you want it, keep it to yourself.
