Is it safe to assume that everyone has their weekends all planned properly so they can check out some great Lake Keowee real estate and have time to watch the opening weekend of college football? That’s right, it’s game week and you’d be wise to do so, my friends. This is going to be a special year in the state of South Carolina for collegiate gridiron action! We here at Top Guns Realty are excited about both the game and the activities, and can’t wait for the weekend although we still have plenty to accomplish in the next couple of days. In fact, there are plenty of days of sun and fun that can also be enjoyed on the water.

We spent all day Saturday showing folks lots and homes and were able to spend the day Sunday enjoying the lake from the other side. Jet skiing for hours exploring the waterfalls, beaches, beach club, the Lighthouse Restaurant and so much more. It’s just so nice to be on the water. One of the few places that comes close is a game day seat in Clemson’s Memorial stadium…and we get to start enjoying those again this Saturday!!!

Hopefully each and every one of you will be doing something similar this coming weekend. Cheering on your favorite team or doing something completely different that makes you happy. Life is short, you’ve got to make hay while the sun shines!

How’s business? Quite good. Another productive week of closing properties and putting new ones under contract. The really good news is the activity level remains good as folks are still out looking for their dream home or lot. There are a lot fewer dream homes to be had than there were a couple of years back which means we expect to see more and more lots getting snatched up. But still have some really great houses and lots listed so come and get ‘em!
