It’s finally here! The best holiday of the month! The day of gluttony – a lot of turkey going down – we all look forward to. Arteries get ready for a workout.

Business remains steady now that we’ve gotten a respite from the rain. We are taking a couple of tours around Thanksgiving and have several tours set up for our listings. It’s nice to see business continue at a good pace this time of year. It won’t be long before we hit the real slow times until next spring. The good news about those times is that the buyers who come through are ready to buy!

Eight parades are scheduled in the area, with several of those happening next week…
World of Energy to host Festival of Trees display
SENECA – The World of Energy education center at Duke Energy’s Oconee Nuclear Station will host its sixth annual Festival of Trees, including photos with Santa Claus.
The Festival of Trees is a free holiday tree display open to the public from 9 a.m. -5 p.m., Monday through Friday, running Nov. 29 through Jan. 4. Local organizations and businesses will decorate more than 20 trees for the event. Visitors can vote on their favorite tree’s the top three winning organizations will receive $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000 grants from Duke Energy to donate to their registered charity of choice.
