Fall Around Lake Keowee? | Top Guns Realty

Is it fall? Hard to tell. Still getting up in the 80’s but we did see one really great day there a couple of days back with a high temperature in the low 70’s. This week we expect a great day on Thursday when it will be crystal clear with a high of 67. Then, what’s up with the weekend? There is a 90% chance of rain with a high of 70 degrees on Saturday for the NC State vs. Clemson game (at least that’s a bit more like fall). That does not bode well for Saturday tailgating nor lake time. Who knows, maybe the forecast will change. I’ll tell you I’m really ready for that Thursday type day for a few more days in a row.

Fall so far has brought us two new listings, one new sale and two closings at a volume of $1,075,000. You were curious about the business side of things, right? Still on track for another great year for Top Guns Realty. We’ll be able to get out on Thursday and get some really great aerial shots of those two new listings and have the videos up and running by Friday. We may even be able to add some more of our area information videos to the web site. We recently shot a video of the Sunset Marina, formerly Gap Hill Landing. We just need to add the aerial video to it so you guys can get an idea of some of the changes. Look for it, it’s going to great!

We’ve been quite busy meeting with folks about getting their homes and lots on the market with two listing presentations on Saturday and three more over the phone. Some are doing the leg work to get there property on the market during the first part of 2019 while others are ready to take the plunge immediately.

By Norm Cannada – SENECA – A revision of a proposed ordinance regulating and allowing short-term rentals in the city is scheduled to once again be presented to the Seneca Planning Commission on Monday night.

The commission is shcedulued to meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall.

City administrator Scott Moulder said the revisions came after meetings he had with representatives on both sides of the ordinance, as well as looking at policies in other citites and conversatios with city attorney Bo Bowman.
