Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog What’s Another Word for…
Humid? Muggy? Damp for no real reason because it’s not raining? I don’t know about in your neck of the woods, but here around Lake Keowee we’re experiencing a sub-tropical October. As the remnants of the latest Hurricane sweeps across our area, we are thankful for the rain but those winds and the stifling humidity can go on back down south. I started sweating just looking out the window this morning. The good news is that this still is October and October can and will be accurately indicated by brisk fall weather. Maybe I’ve just been trying to hurry fall into getting here yesterday. Football does that to me – patience my young padawans!
I know you’re asking, “So, Mr. Football, how’s business?” Still chugging right along thank you very much. We have been able to put one lot under contract over the past week and are working on a contract for yet another. We will also close another almost 2 million dollars in real estate over the next week. The current activity is slowed when it comes to tours, but we do expect a considerable surge about the time cold weather decides that summer is over. Heck, we still have leaf season to look forward to!
